on the journey back to my past,
i peep into my tomorrow,
and faith, my heart drains fast,
whose strength may i borrow?
my dreams confined in a box of fear,
prisoner to echoes of my pains,
oh freedom, to fly i dare,
what keys unlock these chains?
tracing the fleeting lights of hope,
i free my heart to dream once more,
no longer in darkness grope,
who but fools sleeps in a war?
long as the eyes of heaven shines,
my dreams, oh faith my heart opines.
